Sale to benefit soccer club

A garage sale to benefit the Honolulu Galaxy Futbol Club is set from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 8 at Niu Valley Middle School Cafeteria, 310 Halemaumau St. in East Honolulu.

Proceeds from the multi-family sale will benefit the soccer club's community outreach activities and help pay for travel expenses.

The sale will include household items, books, DVDs, toys, children and adult clothing and baked goods. In addition, Reve Salon will host a “;cut-a-thon”; on the cafeteria stage, offering wet cuts for $20 each.

The Honolulu Galaxy Futbol Club is a nonprofit, tax-exempt soccer organization.
