Lundberg leads at WAC tournament
Hawaii's Erika Lundberg is in first place after shooting a 1-over 72 yesterday in the first round of the Western Athletic Conference women's golf championships at Mesa, Ariz.
The Rainbow Wahine are in second place at 305, one shot behind leader San Jose State.
'Swim with Mike' fundraiser is set
The University of Hawaii is taking part in the “;Swim with Mike”; fundraiser for the physically challenged athletes scholarship fund.
The event is Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex.
The “;Swim with Mike”; program began 30 years ago.
UH student-athletes will be participating in the event, which includes relay races, surf polo, diving and an ocean swim.

Seasiders second in league golf
Brigham Young-Hawaii is in second place at the Pacific West golf championships after a 6-over 294 yesterday at the Hawaii Prince Golf Course, two behind Dixie State.
Grand Canyon's Richie Kernagis leads the individual chase at 4-under 68, followed by BYUH's Doug Bischoff at 70.
Grand Canyon is in third, followed by Hawaii-Hilo, HPU, Academy of Art, Notre Dame de Namur and Chaminade.
