Outrigger offers kamaaina savings

Kamaaina rates of $89 per night are available at the Outrigger Hotels in Waikiki. The rates are valid at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki and Ala Moana Hotel until June 15 and at the Ohana Waikiki East until June 20.

Super-savings rates are also being offered to kamaaina at the Kapalua Villas Maui (from $189), the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber (from $119), Outrigger Reef on the Beach (from $139 until May 31) and Keauhou Beach Resort (from $169 until May 31). Some of the packages include free or discounted parking and bonus HawaiianMiles.

Ecotourism awards luncheon set

The Hawaii Ecotourism Association Awards luncheon is set for noon to 1:30 p.m. April 28 at the Captain's Room, Hawaii Prince Hotel.
