The Brigham Young-Hawaii and Hawaii Pacific women's tennis teams held the top two spots in the NCAA Division II West Region's first poll of the season.

The undefeated Lady Seasiders (21-0) are 15-0 in the region while the Lady Sea Warriors (14-2) are 10-0. The teams compete at next week's Pacific West Conference championships in Phoenix.

The rankings are reversed for the men's teams, with HPU No. 1 and BYU-Hawaii No. 2 The Sea Warriors (17-2) are 8-0 in the region while the Seasiders (13-2) are 10-1.

The teams await bids to next month's regional championships.
