Donate stuffed toys to help abused kids
Now in its 13th year, the annual Teddy Bear Round-Up and Family Resource Fair takes place tomorrow with a variety of free activities for local families. Hosted by Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii, the event will also serve as a collection point for thousands of stuffed animals; more than 5,000 are expected to be donated throughout the day tomorrow.
“;The stuffed animals that are collected will be shared with children who have suffered from child abuse,”; said event chairperson Elsie Foster. “;Our profound wish is that one day there is no need for a Teddy Bear Round-Up because there will be no abused children.”;
