Louis Young, former director at the Seabury Hall Upper School on Maui, has been hired as head of The Academy of the Pacific, a private middle and high school in Alewa Heights. He begins July 1.

Prior to Seabury Hall, his work experience included teaching at Woodstock Union School, a public school in Vermont. There he was honored as the state's Presidential Math Teacher of the Year, and was featured in a Sports Illustrated magazine column, “;Faces in the Crowd,”; as head lacrosse coach, a release said.
