» A brief item about the space shuttle on Page 23 Tuesday said the first shuttle mission was in January 1985 and involved Hawaii's Ellison Onizuka. In fact, the first shuttle mission was on April 12, 1981. The January 1985 event was the first U.S. Department of Defense mission but the 15th shuttle flight.
