MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

» Southern California setter Riley McKibbin (Punahou '07) had 43 assists and six digs, and outside hitter Tri Bourne (Academy of the Pacific '07) had seven kills and hit .412 in a three-game sweep of UCLA on Saturday. Freshman Maddison McKibbin (Punahou '09) added a team-leading nine digs and three assists for the Trojans.

» Brigham Young sophomore middle blocker Futi Tavana (Kauai '05) hit .636 with eight kills and had eight blocks in a four-game victory over Long Beach State on Friday.

BASEBALL

» Northwestern sophomore Paul Snieder (Punahou '08) went 3-for-4 with a double and pitched a perfect inning of relief with two strikeouts in an 8-2 win over Ohio State on Saturday.

» Pacific (Ore.) senior first baseman Kaeo Lau Hee (Kamehameha-Maui '06) went 3-for-5 with a double and scored a run and shortstop Brandon Kon (Castle '06) went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs in a 17-8 loss to Willamette on Tuesday. Senior Ryne Miyamoto (Mililani '06) pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief for the Boxers, allowing one hit and one walk with two strikeouts.

» Chico State senior Adam Arakawa (Moanalua '05) went 4-for-9 with two RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of Sonoma State last Thursday.

» Southern Utah sophomore Mitchell Kauweloa (Kamehameha '08) went 5-for-11 with four RBIs in three games over the weekend against Utah Valley. Freshman D.J. Andrade (Damien '09) went 5-for-10 with a double and four runs scored and senior Bucky Aona (Punahou '06) went 4-for-17 with a double, four runs and three RBIs in the series.

» San Diego sophomore Zach Kometani (Punahou '08) went 2-for-4 with a run in two losses to No. 1 Arizona State on Monday and Tuesday.

SOFTBALL

» UNLV senior Cheynah Farley (Castle '06) hit a pinch-hit grand slam on Saturday as part of a 12-run fourth inning to help the Rebels defeat Idaho State 19-4 in five innings in the BYU Round Robin tournament. UNLV finished 3-0 in the two-day tournament.

» New Mexico State junior Hoku Nohara (Kamehameha '07) hit two home runs and finished with five RBIs in a series against Hawaii over the weekend. The Aggies were swept by the Rainbow Wahine, but came back to beat New Mexico 10-0 on Tuesday. Nohara went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and sophomore Shaleese Javillo (Kamehameha '08) stole a base and scored a run.

WOMEN'S WATER POLO

» UC San Diego junior attacker Hanalei Crowell (Kamehameha '07) scored twice against Cal State San Bernardino and once against Brown to help the Tritons win two matches on Saturday.

» Pacific (Calif.) junior Dara Tawarahara ('Iolani '07) scored three goals in a 16-8 win over Fresno Pacific on Saturday. Earlier in the day, she scored twice in a 7-5 win over UC Davis.

» Occidental junior Karie Nickle (Kamehameha '07) and freshman Nanea Fujiyama (Kamehameha '09) both scored twice on only two shots apiece in a 19-1 win over Cal Tech on Saturday.
