One cover gets you into 4 parties
Tonight promises another big party in Chinatown, as Double-O-Spot, Hype Media, Tantriq Entertainment, Architechs Hawaii, the Vertical Junkies and Ezekiel Clothing present the return of the “;Chinatown Get Down”; block party.
Starting at 9 p.m., one cover charge will get you into “;Soul Clap”; at thirtyninehotel, “;Speakers Corner”; at SoHo Mixed Media Bar, “;Camera Obscura”; at Indigo and “;Bhangra Bashment”; at Bar 35. Diners at participating Chinatown restaurants will receive complimentary tickets; bring a cellular telephone to donate to Shelter Alliance and receive $5 off cover.

Vinyl fanatics can gather in Kakaako
Got vinyl? The Lightsleepers Hawaii crew wants to see you at “;Beatroot Bodega”; tomorrow at Fresh Cafe.
Billed as “;Hawaii's first record swap”; all-ages event, the hope is to bring together Honolulu's vinyl purists, DJs, collectors and anyone else interested in digging through crates for musical gems. Hawaii-based clothing companies and other retailers also have been invited to set up shop at the Kakaako coffee shop's warehouse space.
In addition to the wheeling and dealing, local DJs Observ, Oliver Twist, Jahson the 45 Revolver and special guests will spin vinyl-only sets on the turntables at Fresh Cafe.
