Kapono concert aids Lanai center

Lanai City » Singer Henry Kapono will perform next month in a concert to benefit the Lanai Art & Culture Center. The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. March 26 at the Hale Halawai Ballroom in the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay.

Tickets cost $95 for VIP seating with meet-the-artist and a backstage pass; $65 for limited preferred seating; and $35 for general admission. To purchase tickets, call 565-9654 or visit www.lanaiart.org.

Foodbank donors get free breakfast

Ala Moana Hotel is providing a free buffet breakfast to guests who bring in a donation for the Hawaii Foodbank.

Hotel guests who contribute six cans or five pounds of food from March 1 to April 15 will receive a meal coupon for breakfast at the in-house eatery, Plantation Cafe.
