Kailua comes back to topple Waianae

Kailua overcame a first-half deficit to overtake Waianae 54-49 and advance in the Oahu Interscholastic Association White conference playoffs.

Rhys Nakakura was hot from beyond the arc, scoring 15 of his 22 points from 3-point territory for the Surfriders.

The Seariders' Christian Mendonza connected on three 3-pointers of his own as part of his team-high 14 points.

The Rough Riders rolled past the Falcons as they moved on to the next round of the OIA White playoffs.

Kaipo Pale had 21 points for Roosevelt to go along with 16 rebounds. Angelo Berardy led Kalani with 17.
