Warriors hit from long range in victory

Third-ranked Kamehameha sank 12 3-pointers and dominated Damien 70-40 last night.

Kamehameha jumped to an early lead, outscoring Damien 39-21 in the first half and broke away in the third by scoring another 22 points.

Kamehameha's Micah Christenson carried his team's offense, scoring a game-high 21 points.

Jacob Cachola finished with a team-high 10 points for Damien.

Although both teams struggled to find the basket in the first half, the Buffanblu managed to pick up the win over the Owls.

Punahou led 14-12 at halftime and managed to nearly triple its score by the final buzzer.

DeForest Buckner finished with 12 points for Punahou, while Andrew Swanson matched that total for Mid-Pacific.
