Saddleton wins WAC field award
Rainbow Wahine Sarah Saddleton was named “;field”; representative as the WAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
Saddleton cleared 5-foot-10 at the Washington Indoor Open on Sunday, winning her group and setting an NCAA Provisional mark, qualifying her to be chosen among other high jumpers to qualify for the NCAA championship.
The Rainbow Wahine track and field team hosts the Terry Albritton Invitational this weekend at Clarence T.C. Ching Field.
UH's Hou named golfer of week
University of Hawaii's Corie Hou was named WAC golfer of the week for the first time in her career.
Hou was chosen for her performance at last weekend's Peg Barnard Invitational. She tied for fifth with an 8-over-par 150 and holds the best individual finish by any UH golfer this season.

BYUH women fall to Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon ruined the BYUH women's basketball team's three-game winning streak, handing the Seasiders a 75-58 loss in Laie last night.
Grand Canyon's Samantha Murphy racked up 24 points and shot a perfect 6-for-6 at the free-throw line. Dara Tompkison and Richelle Fenenbock scored 17 and 15 points for the Seasiders, who are currently fifth in the PacWest conference.
HPU tennis routs LMU on the road
Hawaii Pacific won four out of six singles matches and one doubles matchup to edge Loyola Marymount yesterday in Loyola, Calif.
Nikola Petrov swept in the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-1, while teammates Aleksandar Markov, Dominic Mcluskey, and Anton Samuilau collected wins in the second, third and sixth singles matches.
The Sea Warriors struggled on the doubles side, but came out with a win by Markov and Sebastian Bader in the No. 3 match.
