A week off in conference play meant a drop in the poll for the Hawaii men's volleyball team.
The Warriors (6-5, 4-4 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), who split two matches with Canadian power Alberta last week, slipped a spot to No. 9.
Hawaii hosts Hope International of the NAIA on Thursday and Friday before returning to MPSF play next week against BYU, including a match on Maui on Feb. 27.
Cal State Northridge (11-2) received 14 first-place votes to remain No. 1. Stanford (7-3) jumped three spots to No. 2, followed by USC (7-4), Pepperdine (5-4) and BYU (7-4).
UCLA (7-6) dropped three places to No. 6. Penn State (8-2) and UC Santa Barbara (6-7) leapfrogged Hawaii to Nos. 7 and 8. Long Beach State (5-6) rounds out the top 10.
