A concert benefiting the 'Iolani Stage Band's Japan tour this spring will take place at 4 p.m. March 7 in the school's Seto Hall.

The evening of music will feature performances by the 'Iolani Stage Band, 'Iolani Tam & Young Jazz Combo and a special appearance by the Ornery Horns, whose members include DeShannon Higa, Tim Tsukiyama, Todd Yukumoto, Curtis Abe, Dean Taba, Robert Shinoda and Noel Okimoto. Abe, a trombonist, is director of the 'Iolani Stage Band.

Tickets to the concert are available at the door or by calling 943-2391. The general admission ticket price of $15 includes culinary creations by Sam Choy's Restaurant.

Proceeds from the concert will help pay for student travel expenses to Japan.
