The union representing 1,800 Kaiser Permanente workers has scheduled another rally and protest this afternoon at the company's Moanalua facility.
Today's protest by United Here Local 5 centers around contract negotiations, but the union also alleges that Kaiser has refused to hand over documents on asbestos at the facility.
Kaiser spokeswoman Lynn Kenton said patient services will not be affected by the rally, which is from 4 to 6:15 p.m.
The union is upset about Kaiser's plans to subcontract its mail-order pharmacy work to Colorado.
Kaiser has said there are no plans to eliminate positions because of the consolidation of mail pharmacy services.
