Hawaii senior pitcher Nate Klein, junior shortstop Greg Garcia and junior outfielder Sean Montplaisir were named to the preseason all-Western Athletic Conference baseball team yesterday.

Hawaii was picked to finish third in the league, behind New Mexico State and four-time defending champion Fresno State, which was picked to repeat.

Louisiana Tech was picked fourth, followed by San Jose State, Nevada and Sacramento State.

Bulldogs junior second baseman Danny Muno was named preseason player of the year and FSU's Derek Benny is the preseason pitcher of the year.

The 'Bows open their season Feb. 19 at home against Oregon State.
