The Hawaii men's basketball team will host Cal Poly in the annual ESPNU BracketBusters event on Feb. 20, the fourth straight year the Rainbow Warriors were matched with a Big West Conference opponent.

The nonconference game between the Mustangs (8-12, 5-3) and UH (9-13, 2-7 Western Athletic Conference) wasn't one of 11 ESPN-televised selections.

“;Typically they're a pretty good team ... they're about like us this year, struggling a little bit. That's why they paired us up, because we have similar RPIs. The good news is we get them at home this year,”; UH coach Bob Nash said.

Four WAC teams were picked for TV games: Louisiana Tech at Northeastern; Nevada at Missouri State; New Mexico State at Pacific; and Wichita State at Utah State.

UH is 3-4 in BracketBusters games, including 1-2 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
