Savusa leads Mid-Pac's victory

Led by Jenna Savusa's game-high 19 points, No. 8 Mid-Pacific held off host Kamehameha 49-46 last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game.
Teammate Jordan Kealoha chipped in with 17 points, including three 3-pointers.
Mid-Pacific took a seven-point lead into the break, only to see Kamehameha even the score at the end of the third quarter.
With the win, Mid-Pacific moved into a tie for second place with idle 'Iolani.
Kennedi Akana and Kellsie Crowell each scored 10 points to lead Kamehameha.

Joshlyn Noga and Alysha Cummings each scored 16 points as the Red Raiders cruised to victory in the opening round of the OIA White playoffs.
Kahuku led 34-18 at halftime and never looked back.
Jasmine Samole led Nanakuli with six points.

Three Raiders scored in double figures, led by Trevyn Tulonghari's game-high 20 points as visiting 'Iolani defeated the Crusaders.
The difference in the game was the second quarter as 'Iolani outscored Saint Louis by 10 to take a 13-point lead at the break.
Marcus Umu led Saint Louis with 14 points.
