The Top of Waikiki is a 360-degree rotating restaurant on the top floor of the Waikiki Business Plaza with views of Waikiki Beach, downtown Honolulu and Diamond Head. Happy hour is served every day at the bar, which just happens to offer the best views in the restaurant.

Each item on the long list of pupus here is available for $7 during happy hour. Some of the appetizers are excellent, while others are nothing special. The Chicken Pupu, made with blue cheese, bacon, Buffalo sauce and an apple/celery slaw, is definitely worth a trip to the top. While served in portions too small to share with large groups, these appetizers are great for two people willing to split an order.

The cocktails at the Top of Waikiki are deliciously made with Grey Goose vodka. Happy-hour drinks are $4 each. The martinis are among the best I've found in all of Waikiki, made with flavors of pomegranate, fresh ginger and limoncello. The bartenders on duty here are friendly and talented, and the round bar is a perfect place to strike up conversation with fellow customers.

Overall the view is beautiful, the cocktails are inexpensive and delicious, the food is of great quality and the bartenders are friendly and helpful. The Top of Waikiki is a great place to start a night out on the town.
