DENVER » A Hawaii woman is one of three people who have never experienced snow before and are about to get their chance.

The Colorado Tourism Office yesterday announced the winners of its “;Snow at First Sight”; contest, which offered an expenses-paid, three-month trip to Colorado from January through March for people who said they had yet to have a snow day.

The winners are 30-year-old Deena Bright of Kailua; 25-year-old Ruchu Adhikary of Melbourne, Australia; and 21-year-old Trevor Allison of Atlanta.

With the help of local guides, they will sample winter activities like snowmobiling, skiing and dogsledding, and visit Colorado restaurants, hot springs and spas.

The winners will share their experiences online.
