UH offers SAT exam practice

Students will have a chance to practice for the SAT, PSAT and ACT exams at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on Jan. 30.
The practice exams are being offered for students in grades 9-12 at the Shidler College of Business from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
To register, send an e-mail with the student's name, current school, grade level, which test the student wants to take, and contact phone number to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
A donation of $5, to cover the cost of testing materials, will be collected at the door. Checks may be made payable to Friends of Operation Manong.
On the same day, there will be campus tours and a free informational workshop for parents and family members on the topic of college admissions and financing a college education.
The testing is sponsored by the UH-Manoa Health Careers and Opportunity Program and Kaplan Testing and Admissions.
Practice test scores are unofficial and will not be recorded. The results will be available on Feb. 6 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Shidler College of Business courtyard. Test scores can be mailed upon request.
