Jamora trims to 4 schools

Kahuku defensive end Hauoli Jamora said yesterday he has narrowed his college choices to Boise State, Hawaii, Oregon State and Washington.

No school is ahead of the others, and Jamora said he is seriously considering UH.

“;I would like playing in front of my family and friends,”; the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Star-Bulletin defensive player of the year said.

He is set to visit Washington this month. The Huskies already have three local prospects committed: Micah Hatchie (Waialua), Lawrence Lagafuaina (Aiea) and Dalaunte “;Taz”; Stevenson (Mililani).

Jamora was part of a Red Raiders team that won the Oahu Interscholastic Association championship and made it to the state Division I final and lost to Kamehameha.

Another Dydasco strikes for Warriors

Caprice Dydasco, sister of former Star-Bulletin player of the year Zane Dydasco, scored a hat trick against 'Iolani in a 3-0 win for Kamehameha last week.

Co-coach Michele Nagamine says it's all in the family.

“;They're similar in their drive and desire. Caprice is very, very coachable and very refined for somebody so young,”; Nagamine said. “;Her speed with the ball is exceptional and she can maneuver in tight spaces.”;

Caprice, a junior, has already committed to UCLA. Zane is a freshman on the team at Air Force.
