Liana leads Farrington to win

Cristen Liana had 15 points and Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo and Angeline Argel added 11 each as Farrington rallied to defeat Castle 50-42 in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Red East game last night.
The host Governors (4-0) rallied to stay undefeated despite a hot start by Castle. Brittany Hawn hit two 3-pointers in the first quarter as she and Leisha Liilii each scored six points to stake the Knights to a 15-8 lead after the opening period.
Farrington leaned on its inside game to rally. Diana Prescott poured in eight of her 10 points in the third quarter and Tatupu-Leopoldo scored six points in the fourth as the Governors were able to hold off the game Knights.

In a closely fought game, the Falcons prevailed over the Surfriders.
Kalani's Corie Kuia scored a game-high 28 points, including both of the Falcons' 3-pointers. The teams tied at 50 in regulation, but the Falcons outscored Kailua 10-6 in overtime.

Aiea remained close throughout, but the Chargers ran away with a 17-point fourth quarter.

With each team fighting for its first conference victory, the Mustangs prevailed over the Cougars.
After trailing in the first quarter, Kalaheo bounced back with a 17-point second quarter and held onto the lead for the rest of the game.
