Star-Bulletin wins Web award

The Honolulu Star-Bulletin received an honorable mention award from the Associated Press Sports Editors for having one of the top sports Web sites in the under one million unique visitors a month division.

As is the case of the best sports sections judged by APSE, a top 10 and an honorable mention group of 10 were selected in both divisions.

“;The judges came away very impressed by the efforts evidenced on the day we randomly selected,”; said Gerry Ahern, assistant managing editor for Yahoo! Sports.

Web sites were evaluated based on content, design and interactivity.
