'Shio' back again at former E&O space

Done unwrapping those presents and looking for something to do after tonight's holiday meal? After a grand opening party last weekend, “;Shio”; is back again tonight at Ka Restaurant and Lounge.

Kurious Productions and Profound Entertainment host the new weekly in the space formerly occupied by E&O Trading Co. Few changes have been made to the room itself, other than a few alterations to make things more conducive for dancing and drinking the night away.

Doors open at 10 p.m. for “;Shio,”; with DJs K-Smooth and Edit on the decks.

'Last' series continues at Anna Bannana's

Despite a lack of official confirmation from the owner of Anna Bannana's, local promoter 86 Productions is pressing on with its series of “;The Last ...”; parties at the Moiliili bar.

As the story goes, Anna's will lose its lease sometime next year and landowner Kamehameha Schools hasn't indicated whether it will be renewed. Until then, bands who have played there through the years are stopping in for what could be one last performance before last call.

Tomorrow's “;The Last X-Mas at Anna Bannana's”; will feature performances by Pimpbot, Black Square and Buckshot Shorty; DJ Mike Yi will spin between sets.
