WHAT'S IN STORE
Spa imports Nude Jewelry
You don't have to worry about your precious jewelry going astray during the merriment and wild partying associated with New Year celebrations.
Izumi Nagahama of Beauty Elements Spa is offering jewelry for the skin in the form of Nude Jewelry from Japan.
The design, incorporating your choice of 24K gold or platinum leaf, is applied to the skin's surface, and can also be finished with Swarovski crystals.
Designs typically last for a week, but with care, can last more than three weeks. Rates start at $80 for a small gold design.
Beauty Elements, at 2255 Kuhio Ave., Suite 766, is the first company in the United States to offer the service popular with brides, celebrities and club-goers in Japan.

Dust yourself in holiday sparkle
Shimmer this new year with the Cle de Peau Beaute limited-edition Holiday Palette Vintage. Lucia Pieroni created the luminous multi-colored powder in a faceted design capturing the elegance of vintage jewelry.
The powder combines four neutral shades with a festive pearly sparkle that adds a luminous glow to complexions while conveniently guiding others' eyes away from any dark circles under your eyes stemming from lack of rest due to the busy season.
Dust it on your face, cheekbones and decolletage whenever you're stepping out and feel the need for a little attention.
It's $125 at Neiman Marcus.
