Wade adds Tang to volleyball staff

Hawaii hired Shelton Tang as an assistant coach for the Warriors men's volleyball team.

Tang will work under first-year head coach Charlie Wade.

For the past 15 seasons, Tang worked as a volunteer coach and video coordinator for the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team.

“;We're fortunate to acquire Shelton's knowledge and experience on our staff,”; Wade said.

BYUH's Chang is player of week

The Pacific West Conference named Jet Chang as its player of the week yesterday.

Chang, a sophomore guard, averaged 23.7 points per game and shot 65.2 percent as the Seasiders went 2-1.
