2 theaters offering holiday ticket packages

Two of Honolulu's longtime community theaters are offering special seasonal ticket packages as gift ideas.

Manoa Valley Theatre's “;Holiday Six-Pak”; offers six flex-pass tickets for only $140 through Dec. 31. Flex passes are good for any show or combination of shows remaining in the 2009-10 season. Recipients can opt to use them all on one show or spread them out over the remainder of the season (excluding the special-engagement production of “;Once Upon One Time”; that will run from July 8-25).

Remaining productions include “;The Dixie Swim Club”; (Jan. 14-31), “;Hair”; (March 4-21) and “;Sleuth”; (May 20-June 6). Call 988-6131.

The “;Tinsel 'n Tickets”; package from Diamond Head Theatre offers two tickets in section B of the theater to any three of the four remaining shows in DHT's season, including “;The Joy Luck Club”; (Jan. 29-Feb. 14), “;Shout! The Mod Musical”; (March 19-April 4), “;Guys & Dolls”; (May 14-30) and “;The Sound of Music”; (July 9-25). The six-ticket package costs $105, and the offer is good through Dec. 24. Call 733-0274.
