Enjoy Chart House's margaritas
POSTED: Friday, December 04, 2009
The Chart House, located off Ala Moana Boulevard in Waikiki, has been a Hawaii staple since 1969.
Happy hour takes place in the cocktail lounge only and is available daily in both the early and late evening. The first seating tends to be a bit quiet, but the lounge comes alive after live music begins at 6 p.m.
The Chart House's frozen margaritas alone are worth a trip—they are perfectly blended and have delicious flavors such as banana. A large list of pupus is also offered (although they tend to be covered in heavy sauces and dressings), and the owner hand-picks fish from the Honolulu Fish Auction to ensure only the freshest seafood is available.

Unfortunately, service is not the best, but could be easily improved. When we walked into the lounge, it was somewhat disheartening as my party and I received no greeting or direction.
