Hawaii residents are warned not to open or respond to any e-mail asking for information for a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-sponsored state H1N1 vaccination program.
The CDC said it has received reports of fraudulent e-mails (phishing) asking users to create a personal swine flu vaccination profile on the CDC.gov Web site.
All vaccination information is collected by the health provider giving the vaccination, so people should not provide any information online related to a vaccination registry, said state Health Director Chiyome Fukino.
