» Architects Hawaii has announced the following new hires:

—Gary T. Asahina as project architect. He was previously a senior project manager at WCIT Architecture as well as project manager/project architect for government and private sector projects.

—Jared Lum as technical support. He was previously an archive assistant at AHL.

—Raymond Okamoto as construction administrator. He was previously at Nordic PCL Construction.

—Dean Takasato as associate/health care architect. He has more than 14 years' experience as a medical planner and project architect.

—Debra Yuen as marketing coordinator. She was previously an editor of the TGIF entertainment section at the Honolulu Advertiser.
