Head collar is kinder, gentler than muzzles

QUESTION: I see more and more dogs in what looks like a muzzle, but it's not. What is that?

ANSWER: It's called a Gentle Leader. And where the nose goes, the body follows. More and more are tossing out the dog's choke chain and enjoying the benefits of stress-free walks thanks to the Gentle Leader. Designed so that owners can communicate with their pet in a way they instinctively understand, the device painlessly and effectively removes the dog's natural tendency to pull by eliminating uncomfortable pressure on the throat.
