Age matters more when pairing pooches

Question: Are two male dogs or two female dogs better companions?

Answer: Each animal has a unique personality and temperament. Dogs vary widely in the level of social interaction they prefer. Age differences matter more than gender. A young puppy might not be the best companion with an older dog. Pets that are spayed or neutered typically get along better. Before pairing dogs, it's best to observe their interaction for a while on neutral territory to see how they get along.
