Rainbow Wahine win season finale

Britta Bourne scored three goals to lead Hawaii to a 3-2 women's soccer victory over Idaho in the season finale yesterday at Moscow, Idaho.

Bourne scored the game-winner, breaking a 2-2 tie in the 85th minute on a pass from Ambree Ako.

The Wahine (7-11-1) finished with a 3-5 Western Athletic Conference record.

Ako had two assists and Kelsie Look had one.

The Vandals fell to 9-9-3 and 2-6.

Hilo's Swenson player of week

Hawaii-Hilo junior Katie Swenson is the PacWest's volleyball player of the week.

Swenson had 87 assists and averaged 12.43 assists per game as the Vulcans went 2-0 and clinched the conference title.
