'Greek' midseason to end with house rivalries, revelry

It's the battle among friends, houses and robots in tomorrow's midseason finale of “;Greek.”; The ABC Family series about a bunch of fraternity and sorority students at Cyprus-Rhodes University begins with Cappie (Scott Michael Foster) and Casey (Spencer Grammer, daughter of Kelsey Grammer) in Cappie's bed a week after Thanksgiving.

Three years after breaking up, the couple is back together again (viewers watched Cappie profess his love to Casey in last week's episode). Will their relationship break Cappie's reunited friendship with childhood pal Evan (Jake McDorman), who is also an ex-boyfriend of Casey? Casey wants the trio to be friends just like they were in freshman year, before the boys' loyalty to their respective fraternities tore them apart. But can two fraternity presidents still remain good friends when their houses hate each other? Throw Casey and Cappie's renewed romance into the mixture and things could go up in smoke faster than Dale's (Clark Duke) project did last week.

Speaking about Dale, his friendship with Rusty (Jacob Zachar) is on shaky ground because both are competing for the Gary Wyatt Grant. Now that Dale's polygamy science project went up in flames and Rusty's project is progressing smoothly, the boys are spewing harsh words and unleashing robots at each other ... now that they've started talking to each other again.

”;Greek”;
        Airs at 9 p.m. Monday on ABC Family. Repeats Tuesday at midnight.

Then there's the battle between the ZBZ sorority house and Gamma Psi. ZBZ is trying to regain its top spot in the sorority world and needs to win the “;Songfest”; competition. Those who enjoy “;High School Musical”; or “;Glee”; will enjoy ZBZ's musical number. Unfortunately, viewers don't really get to see the acts they were up against.

Sprinkled in with all the fun-filled drama and angst are the usual fraternity pranks and coed bonding. This season ender isn't as climatic as last season's “;End of the World”; episode, but there's a lot going on and the friendship between Rusty and Dale provides a nice balance to Cappie and Evan's friendship.
