» Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli (Saint Louis '06) returned from a knee injury and accounted for three touchdowns in a 43-19 victory over Washington on Saturday. Masoli ran for 54 yards and two scores and completed 14 of 22 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown. Huskies' sophomore Kalani Aldrich (Kamehameha-Hawaii '07) had three tackles, including half a sack, and freshman Semisi Tokolahi (Hilo '09) had two tackles.
» Weber State quarterback Cameron Higgins (Saint Louis '06) completed 25 of 37 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in a 28-20 win over Northern Colorado. Ryan Eastman (Saint Louis '08) added six tackles and freshman Maiah Fa'atoafe (Aiea '09) added three tackles for the Wildcats.
» Idaho linebacker Robert Siavii (Leilehua '08) had four tackles and a forced fumble and Jojo Dickson (Baldwin '07) had four tackles in a 70-45 loss to Nevada on Saturday that knocked the Vandals out of first place in the Western Athletic Conference.
» Notre Dame freshman Manti Te'o (Punahou '09) had a team-high nine tackles, including 2 1/2 tackles for loss, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup in the Fighting Irish's 20-16 win over Boston College on Saturday.
» Oregon State sophomore linebacker David Pa'aluhi (Waianae '07) had seven tackles and a pass breakup in a 42-36 loss to Southern California on Saturday. Suaesi Tuimaunei (Kahuku '06) had two tackles and Kevin Unga (Kahuku '06) added a solo tackle for the Beavers.
» Utah senior Kepa Gaison (Kamehameha '05) had seven tackles and Nai Fotu (Kahuku '07) added two in a 23-16 overtime victory over Air Force on Saturday.
» Linfield (Ore.) sophomore Kalae Parish (Kapolei '08) had four tackles, freshman Nate Dixon (Kapolei '08) had two tackles and an interception, Sparky Gonzales (Saint Louis '08) had two tackles and Ian Estrada (Kamehameha '05) had a tackle and forced a fumble in the Wildcats' 30-27 victory over Willamette (Ore.) Jeff Kahler (Saint Louis '07) had three tackles and Matthew Parr (Kauai '09) added two tackles for the Bearcats.

» UCLA sophomore Stephanie Kono (Punahou '08) shot a 1-over 73 in the final round of the NCAA Fall Preview in Wilmington, N.C., on Sunday to finish tied for fifth place. Kono sandwiched a 1-under 71 between rounds of 73. New Mexico senior Britney Choy (Leilehua '06) finished in a tie for 78th place at 24 over.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
» Moanalua High product Kaleinani Kabalis recorded her 1,000th career kill and the fourth-ranked Western Nebraska Community College volleyball team defeated No. 12 Casper (Wyo.) College in five sets last Thursday in Scottsbluff, Neb. Kabalis, a sophomore hitter, had a season-high 28 kills and added 12 digs in the 16-25, 25-14, 21-25, 26-24, 15-9 victory. She reached the 1,000-kill mark on the first point of the fourth set for the Cougars (35-2). Sister Ku'ulei (Kamehameha-Hawaii '09), a freshman setter, had 53 assists and 15 digs.
» Puget Sound senior libero Leigh Sumida ('Iolani '06) received honorable mention honors for Northwest Conference student-athlete of the week with a season-high 31 digs in a five-set loss to Pacific Lutheran. Sumida also collected a match-high 19 digs and junior Kris Sumida ('Iolani '07) had 10 digs and six aces in a three-set win over Willamette.
» Adelphi (N.Y.) junior Heather Mau (Maryknoll '07) had 41 assists, eight digs and five kills in a five-set loss to Bridgeport (Conn.) on Sunday.
