A man who admitted robbing and kidnapping a drug dealer who was gunned down on Kaneohe Bay Drive will serve 10 years in prison.

Reginald Pettway, 31, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and kidnapping and testified in the murder trial of co-defendant Jerrico Lindsey.

A state judge sentenced him yesterday to the 10-year term spelled out in his plea agreement, but credited him with the time he has already served since his arrest in April last year.

William Lee Freeman Jr. also pleaded guilty and testified against Lindsey. He will be sentenced next month.

A state jury found Lindsey guilty last week of murder in the May 14, 2007, shooting death of 27-year-old Benjamin Grajeda.
