ON THE MOVE

  Bank of Hawaii has announced the following promotions:

» Vincent Barfield to senior executive vice president overseeing the investments division of the Investment Services Group, and a member of the bank's Managing Committee from executive vice president.

He had been responsible for Commercial Banking Group's real estate, leasing and wholesale insurance units.

» Jill Higa to senior executive vice president of consumer direct and indirect lending, and a member of the bank's Managing Committee from executive vice president.

She has more than 20 years' experience in the financial services industry in Hawaii and California and was previously a division manager for the Hawaii Branch Division.

» James Polk to senior executive vice president overseeing the Hawaii Commercial Banking Centers, corporate banking, equipment leasing and dealer commercial services, as well as a member of the Bank's Managing Committee from executive vice president.

His experience includes manager of Pacific Islands Division, Commercial Credit Underwriting and Analysis and Corporate Banking Division as well as deputy manager of Commercial Real Estate Loan Division.
