Teenager turns self in to police
A 14-year-old boy, one of two suspected of stealing money from a 12-year-old classmate of the other suspect, surrendered to police.
Police said two 14-year-old boys asked the 12-year-old boy for a dollar, went through the victim's pockets and removed money from his wallet on Sept. 19. The younger boy said he was afraid the older boys would beat him.
The victim told authorities in school what happened, and police arrested one suspect at the unidentified school.
The other suspect was identified and his parents were notified.
He turned himself in to police Tuesday. Both suspects were released into the custody of their parents.
