Two new shops at Pearlridge
POSTED: Thursday, October 08, 2009
Leeward Oahu residents have two new places to get dressed with the Pearlridge Center openings of Kazu Couture and In My Closet.
Kazu Couture aims to offer equal shopping opportunity to men in a market saturated with women's boutiques. Women's dresses and separates are offered, but while she's shopping, men also will be able to browse the racks for a change. “;Kazu”; means “;first”; in Japanese.
The men's collection ranges from vintage to couture to street wear, while the women's collection is described as urban-chic. Look for the boutique Uptown, second level.
Meanwhile, on the first level, Uptown, In My Closet offers affordable fashion presented in a closet-like setting that enables shoppers to organize their style ideas. Among the brands carried by owners Jina Watanabe and Chong Yamamoto are Ginger 13, Miss Me, Bobi, Rain, Boy Meets Girl, Kendra Duck, Code Vintage and Isabelt.
