Is it hot or is it not? You be the judge

Longtime painter and art instructor Timothy P. Ojile is showing a year's worth of work in “;Hot or Not”; at the Pegge Hopper Gallery through Oct. 17.

Ojile's usual dynamic, colorful style is on display alongside some elegant monochromatic pieces. All convey the artist's sophisticated perspective.

Pegge Hopper Gallery, 1164 Nuuanu Ave., is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays and until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Call 524-1160.
