Two decades after they originally released their classic hip-hop album, “;Three Feet High and Rising,”; New York's De La Soul returns to Honolulu tomorrow for a headlining set at Aloha Tower Marketplace's Events at the Tower.

Kelvin Mercer, David Jolicoeur and Vincent Mason last visited in 2005, when they played before a packed house at Pipeline Cafe. This time around, they're joined by Biz Markie in an outdoor setting; Tassho Pearce, Shella and DJs from the Noctural Sound Krew will kick off the show at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 at the door; VIP reserved seating is also available.

The Sweet

United Kingdom rockers The Sweet, described as “;the legendary gods of glam rock,”; are set to make their Hawaii debut this weekend at Pipeline Cafe.

Formed in the '70s, The Sweet charted more than a dozen songs, including “;Ballroom Blitz,”; “;Fox on the Run”; and “;Blockbuster.”; They sold more than 40 million albums worldwide before disbanding in 1981.

Last year, the band reformed for a limited run of shows. They were so popular, they decided to continue in 2009, including tomorrow's concert at Pipeline. Tickets are $35 and $75 at the door; all ages welcome.

“;Teen City: The Fall Break Homecoming Massive”; will feature DJs James Coles, Blayz, Unknown, Jaxon James and TC from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
