Teen accused of robbing boy, 11, at restaurant

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy yesterday for allegedly robbing an 11-year-old boy at a Kaneohe fast-food restaurant.

On Monday afternoon, the teenager approached the boy at the restaurant and demanded his cell phone. When the boy refused, the teen allegedly grabbed it and punched him several times.

The teen dropped the phone and allegedly grabbed the boy's hat and fled.

The two are students at the same school, police said. Police found the suspect yesterday and arrested him on suspicion of second-degree robbery.

Homeless Kapiolani Park stabbing suspect released

Police on Tuesday released a 39-year-old homeless man who was arrested in the stabbing of a 43-year-old homeless man Monday at Kapiolani Park.

On Tuesday, police said they are looking for another man in his 30s who is suspected of stabbing the man in the neck.
