The Play: QB Greg Alexander passes to WR Rodney Bradley for 23 yards and a touchdown.

The Impact: The touchdown caps a six-play, 80-yard drive that sets the tone for the game. Hawaii takes a 35-0 first-half lead and then Washington State never gets closer than 15 points.

Bradley: “;Not only am I confident in myself, but I'm confident in my quarterback to make that pass to me, to look to me.”;

2. Punch out

The Situation: Hawaii 14, Washington State 0, 4:44 remaining, first quarter, Washington State ball, first and 10 at Hawaii 22

The Play: WR Jared Karstetter catches a pass from QB Kevin Lopina. He is hit by LB Corey Paredes at the Hawaii 6 and fumbles into the end zone. LB R.J. Kiesel-Kauhane gets his hands on the ball, but it goes out of bounds.

The Impact: Paredes' first of two forced fumbles gets Hawaii the ball on a touchback, and after Mike Wadsworth recovers a fumbled punt, Hawaii extends its lead to 21-0 on Leon Wright-Jackson's 2-yard run.

Paredes: “;I saw (Karstetter) holding the ball wide and the coaches have us practice the fumble drill. So I saw it and punched it out.”;

3. Bradley Again

The Situation: Hawaii 21, Washington State 0, 11:15 remaining, second quarter, Hawaii ball, second and 10 at Hawaii 27

The Play: Alexander finds Bradley over the middle. Bradley makes a fingertip catch and then escapes two defenders and outruns the rest of the Washington State defense for a 73-yard touchdown.

The Impact: Hawaii's longest play of the season gives it a 28-0 lead. Bradley finishes with seven catches for 150 yards.

Bradley: “;When I caught it, I was surprised I was still up, so I just took off.”;

4. Another Wazzu turnover

The Situation: Hawaii 28, Washington State 0, 11:00 remaining, second quarter, Washington State ball, first and 10 at Washington State 24

The Play: Karstetter fumbles again after a reception. This time it's forced by CB Tank Hopkins and recovered by Kiesel-Kauhane at the Washington State 47.

The Impact: On Hawaii's second play of the next series, Alex Green bolts for a 44-yard touchdown run and Hawaii leads 35-0. Washington State has five of its seven turnovers and Hawaii posts 364 of its 624 yards of total offense in the first half.

5. Salas Seals it

The Situation: Hawaii 35, Washington State 20, 13:12 remaining, fourth quarter, Hawaii ball, first and 10 at Hawaii 30

The Play: SB Greg Salas takes a short pass from Alexander and turns it into a 61-yard gain to the Washington State 9.

The Impact: Scott Enos kicks a 20-yard field goal, ending a streak of 20 unanswered points by Washington State. Salas finishes with seven catches for 195 yards and ends the second week of the college season leading the nation in receiving yards.

Salas: “;After Central Arkansas, people were looking at us like, 'They barely beat them, how are they going to do against a Pac-10 team?' But we knew what we could do.”;
