Rainbow Wahine drop to No. 6

Two losses translated into a two-spot drop in the AVCA Coaches Top 25 for the Hawaii women's volleyball team.
The Rainbow Wahine (4-2) went from fourth to sixth yesterday. Defending NCAA champion Penn State (6-0) remained No. 1, receiving 52 of 60 first-place votes.
Texas (5-0), the Hawaiian Airlines Classic champion, remained in second and received seven votes. Washington stayed at No. 3 with one vote. Florida moved up to No. 4 and Nebraska to No. 5.
Cal, which defeated Hawaii on Sunday, dropped from No. 10 to No. 13. Saint Louis, which upset Cal on Saturday, moved up to 16th from 19th.
Seben honored
Hawaii-Hilo senior Fabiane Seben was named Pacific West Conference player of the week yesterday.
She led the Vulcans in hitting and aces during a 5-0 road trip.
