Elmo is trying to help families navigate some tough times. “;Sesame Street”; will air a prime-time special to aid parents and children ages 2 to 8 deal with economic hardship. It will air on PBS stations on Sept. 9 and is directed at families that have someone dealing with a job loss or the income is much less than it was.
