CORRECTIONS

» Matson Navigation Co. is still reviewing whether to increase its fuel surcharge. A business brief on Page 19 yesterday noted Horizon Lines was increasing its fuel surcharge to 33 percent and said Matson's surcharge also was at 33 percent.

» A business brief on Page 21 yesterday described Red Mango as based in South Korea. The frozen-yogurt com-pany was founded in South Korea but is franchising through a U.S.-based operation.

» Maui Prince Hotel LLC could cease operations of its hotel and golf course, and 380 employees could lose their jobs. A caption that accompanied a story on Page 22 yesterday incorrectly indicated that the closure and layoffs already had been determined.

» Glenn Oamilda was one of those protesting the Hoopili housing project Friday. His name was misspelled as Oamildan in a photo caption on Page 1 Saturday.

CLARIFICATION

» Petty Officer 1st Class Jimmy Pecadeso had completed his tour in recruiting and transferred to shipboard duty before the conclusion of an investigation into an allegation that he misled two Kapolei students. Because the allegation was substantiated, he will be ineligible for future assignment as a Navy recruiter. A Page 8 article Monday implied that he had been sent to sea as punishment.
