Gather the keiki for Family Fun Day at Dole Plantation.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 26, the grounds will fill with games, food booths, live entertainment, arts and crafts, giveaways and more.

Lock down a booth today at the Oh Baby Family Expo 2009, being held in October at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

Organizers are looking for exhibits that offer baby and toddler apparel; baby bottles; beauty, health and nutrition; birth announcements and invitations; books; day care and nanny services; educational toys and videos; kid party ideas; financial services; insurance; formula and nursing supplies; government and nonprofit agencies; hospitals and birthing centers; jewelry and accessories; maternity apparel; photography; real estate; research opportunities; safety and child-proofing; strollers and car seats; travel; ultrasound and more.

Tribute to Kapiolani highlights art event

A Hawaiian art event will kick off at 6 p.m. Saturday at Aloha Tower Market Place's atrium with the unveiling of artist Leohone's painting “;Ho'oulu a me Ho'ola Lahui”; (”;to increase and preserve the nation”;), an homage to Queen Kapiolani.

Cyril Pahinui, Like Like Bell and Kawika Kahiapo & Keale are among the entertainers performing. Halau ke Kia'i a o Hula will present a hula demonstration, and Prince Kuhio Hawaiian Civic Club Chorale will sing.
