Corpuz wins match play title

Punahou's Allisen Corpuz beat Kacie Komoto 2 and 1 at Oahu Country Club yesterday to become the youngest winner of the Hawaii State Match Play event yesterday.

Corpuz, 11, joins Stephanie Kono (2001) and Cyd Okino (2005) as the third pre-teen to win the event. She led the match from wire to wire.
